The Polaras are one of the most exciting bands in the country. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, this is a three piece band in their mid-20s features Mannie Makris on guitar and vocals, Art Makris on Drums and the newest member Jeff Van Zandvoort on bass.

Hello everyone, we thank all of you that have supported us at every event this year. You all know who you are.   The Summer kicked off with a killer show at the Grand Opening of Ottawa's first hot-rod shop Autowonderland. The car show featured The Polaras & the JW Jones Blues Band. Both bands played in some heavy sun in front of some fine Hot Rod's .   Another highlight for The Polaras this summer so far had to have been our gig for the Bay St Stampede at the Steam Whistle Brewery on the base of the CN Tower.   We played 5 1/2 hours of music to about 900 beer drinking Fans.
